Collection of compelling kitchen utensils from wood

Jernej Mali isn’t a product designer but a sculptor. He’s been working with wood for a long time, and also works restoring wooden objects. The secret behind the seductive black patina is a long soak in wine vinegar. The special mix of mineral oils and bee’s wax used for the finish makes these utensils waterproof and safe both for serving food and for washing. And his compelling designs are used by many renowned chefs.
