Organised transport around Kamnik-Savinja Alps 2024

This summer, specifically from June 22nd to September 1st 2024, you will be able to embark on a journey with organized circular transport, which will operate every day of the week. This year’s novelty is a slightly altered route, as the van will also stop in the municipality of Komenda.

Circular route to the most popular tourist destinations in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps area

Passengers can access transportation at the following stations:

  • in Kamnik (main bus station),
  • in the center of Komenda and Cerklje,
  • at the lower cable car station on Krvavec,
  • in Adergas,
  • in the center of Preddvor,
  • in Jezersko at the bus stops near the Municipality and Planšarsko jezero (Planšar Lake),
  • near Plesnik in Logar Valley and Center Rinka in Solčava,
  • in the center of Luče,
  • at Kranjski Rak, and
  • in Kamniška Bistrica at the lower station of the cable car to Velika planina (or by arrangement at the source of Kamniška Bistrica).

The van schedule will be published on the Kamnik-Savinja Alps website (ksalps.com) and on the websites of participating municipalities. Transportation times and pickup locations will be adjusted according to passenger demand.

Seat reservation is mandatory

For transportation, advance seat reservation is required, at least one day before departure until 4 p.m. Local Tourist Information Centers or accommodation providers can assist you with this, or you can reserve a seat yourself by calling +386 40 890 105.

The transportation fare ranges between 4 and 9 euros, depending on the length of the journey and the passenger’s age.
