What was your most important lesson in 2023?

In 2023, my most crucial lesson was the paramount importance of adaptability. The ever-evolving landscape of business demands a nimble approach. Organisations that excel are those embracing change, pivoting swiftly, and fostering a culture where adaptability is not just a skill but a mindset. Additionally, when working with various clients, I recognised that topics such as stress management, mindfulness, and zen are recognised by organisations’ HR but are not initially volunteered for by employees. There is still a widely spread stigma around these topics (as if attending a stress management workshop means one is almost mentally ill), and employees become fascinated by the positive effects of such workshops after attending them.

What global trend will shape 2024?

The continued integration of technology with human-centric approaches will be in my opinion a defining global trend in 2024. The convergence of AI, machine learning, and human psychology will redefine how businesses operate, emphasising a more empathetic and personalised connection with customers and employees alike.

What will be the most key skill in 2024?

Emotional intelligence will stand as the most critical skill in 2024 alongside the ability to understand and recognize individual strengths not weaknesses as a leader. Amidst rapid technological advancements, the ability to understand, empathise, and connect with others on a deeper level will be the linchpin for effective leadership, team collaboration, and sustainable business growth.

Tips and tricks to help personal/business growth succeed in 2024:

Embrace both agility and positive psychology concepts wholeheartedly. Businesses thriving in 2024 will be those that prioritise agility in decision-making, innovation, and adapting swiftly to market changes. Additionally, fostering a culture of psychological safety, where diverse ideas are valued and encouraged, will be pivotal for fostering creativity and resilience.

What is your top resolution for 2024?

My primary resolution for 2024 is to further advocate for and facilitate the integration of mindfulness practices, positive psychology leadership, coaching, agility, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset within corporate environments. Encouraging these practices not only enhances individual well-being but also cultivates a more focused, compassionate, and resilient workforce, ultimately driving sustainable business success.
