The funder of a multi-brand fahion store – Sans Concept. Her basic rebellious attitude is already shinning right through the shop’s ever so conceptual name. Petra Green is one of the rare Slovenian shop owner who fosters Slovene brands and does not leave the rules of financial growth to decide instead of her.
Influenced by: Ethical shopping, sustainability, a desire to promote and sustain local talent and the longstanding textile manufacturing tradition that once flourished in Slovenia and we believe can continue to do so in the future.
Seen in: … all over the place… Some of our brands and designers have been clothing Slovene celebrities for over 20y, others are part of the new wave and are being featured regularly in domestic and international avant-garde fashion publications.
Designed to what: help bring about change by re-framing customer values to change human habits. A shift to a circular fashion system is necessary less we want the future generations to suffocate under he waste we create daily. While consumption decreases, our focus is to educate the consumer in recognising true added value by not spending less on fashion but spend better and with purpose.
Produced where and how: Produced in Slovenia in small-run workshops or self-production. Built for who: Anyone who takes self-expression through style seriously and simply those with a good eye for timeless design that will
never go out of fashion.
Sans Concept fix: to quote William Morris: “If you want a golden rule that will fit everything, this is it: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful”.
