The New Year is a time when many set resolutions and plans to improve their lives. This year, take the time to adopt a different approach and ensure your resolutions become a reality!
The winner of Best Of Speaker 2025 is… NASTJA MULEJ!
Nastja Mulej, an ambassador of the de Bono method and an expert in creative thinking, received the highest number of votes in the Best Of Speaker poll, earning an impressive 19% of the total 1,702 votes cast in December.
Upon receiving the title, Nastja shared her thoughts:
“I am proud to have been named Speaker of the Year. I’m deeply grateful to the jury who included me on the shortlist and to everyone who voted for me. This recognition means a lot to me, as my mission is to help people think – that is, communicate – intentionally and consciously. More focused and structured. More collaborative and tolerant. More creatively and critically effective. With fewer conflicts and more understanding. More positively and constructively.
With the tools of intentional thinking developed by Dr. Edward de Bono, we can live in a tolerant and innovative society of prosperity. We can become more balanced, less emotionally reactive. We can accomplish tasks more efficiently. We can approach projects with greater enthusiasm. Meetings can become opportunities to agree on actions – and actually follow through on them. We can set egos aside and focus solely on co-creating. We can plan more comprehensively and make better-informed decisions.
I’ve been a speaker all my life, a lecturer… but I don’t believe in lectures. They feel too much like preaching. Through countless experiences, I’ve learned that change doesn’t come from me but from the participants themselves. And only when they experience it firsthand, they see where they are and where they could go. That’s why I turn every talk into a workshop. As someone with ADHD, I can’t passively listen either – I can only actively engage. And I believe those who voted for me are people tired of one-way communication, who are excited by my approach to activating their gray matter.”
