The airline Easyjet will now fly from Ljubljana to the third London airport – Luton.
This will be the third connected airport in London after Gatwick and Stansted.
The Luton airport has already posted the link between Ljubljana and Luton on its website. According to the Exyuaviation web portal, Easyjet will connect the airport with Luton on March 30, flying four times a week, every Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
It will replace the low-budget airline Wizzair, which terminated that connection between London and Ljubljana in October, 2019.
In addition to the Israeli airline, the existing 12 airlines will be joined by at least four in the summer – British Airways with four flights a week to London Heathrow, Finnair with daily connections to Helsinki, Iberia with four flights a week to Madrid and Windrose with two flights a week to Kyiv.
Last year, 1,719 million passengers traveled through the airport, down 5.1 percent from a year earlier.
