Gostilna Belšak, Slavkov dom, is nestled away between Ljubljana and Medvode, surrounded by meadows and forests. Its location offers an escape from the city and tranquility with its stunning views.
Belšak pleases with dishes like fried chicken, noodles with truffles and roasted veal, as well as other seasonal specials. The building itself has as much depth and complexity as their dishes – first built as a checkpoint to the Italian border by German soldiers in World War Two, it was later claimed by mountaineers from Medvode where they named the building after Slavko Čarman. Gostilna Belšak now celebrates its 20th anniversary in Slavkov Dom.
