“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

Logarska Dolina, or the Logar Valley, by Tomo Jeseničnik
While the vast majority of the world’s seven billion people have not yet had the opportunity to travel to Slovenia, thanks to all of the incredible Slovene photographers working today, pretty much everyone already knows that Slovenia is the most beautiful country in the world! That might perhaps be a slight exaggeration, but without the talent and hard work of the ten photographers listed below, as well as many of their colleagues, it wouldn’t have been possible to publish THE Slovenia Book or any of our other projects. Narrowing the list of worthy candidates down to only ten was no easy task, but it had to be done. Without further ado, we present our selection of the Top 10 Slovene Photographers.
