Home fabrics, woven with coincidences.
Duavita and Shunga introduced individuality and “randomness” into serial production. With the computer-aided process, incidental scribbles are drawn over a repeating pattern. The samples are not printed but woven into jacquard fabric manufactured with polyester yarn made of recycled bottles and other plastic waste, creating a mixture of 75% woven recycled polyester and 25% cotton. The fabric is suitable for upholstering furniture.
