Ormoško Lake is an artificial lake on the Drava River and is considered one of the largest reservoirs in Slovenia. It also marks the border between Slovenia and Croatia.

Along the shore of the Ormoško lake there are larger reeds, grasslands, and swamp forests. Many waterbirds have found their home here, and a rare cormorant winters here as well.
The Ormoške lagune Nature Reserve, an extremely ornithologically important wetland, is located near Ormoško Lake. The Ormoško lake and lagoons are the largest resting place for migratory waterbirds in Slovenia.
