The center of Ljubljana is already preparing for the most delicious transformation of the summer, as a top event for wine and culinary enthusiasts will take place in a month. The traditional Ljubljana Wine Route, Summer Wine Indulgence, now in its 12th year, promises an exceptional treat for the taste buds and an unforgettable experience for all who love top-quality wines and delicious cuisine.
Summer Ljubljana Wine Route on 15th of June
In the heart of Ljubljana, on June 15, the streets and squares will come alive with a vibrant atmosphere, featuring over 80 winemakers from all Slovenian wine regions, along with numerous culinary masters. More than 5,000 visitors will have the opportunity to indulge their taste buds with over 350 different wine samples and delights from local culinary experts. It will be a true feast for the senses and an opportunity to discover the best wines and culinary masterpieces that Slovenia has to offer.
In addition to local wine and cuisine, both domestic and foreign tourists will be able to enjoy numerous folklore performances, thus experiencing the full pulse of Slovenian culture.
Second edition continues in November 2024
The second edition of the Ljubljana Wine Route will take place on November 9, also in the city center of Ljubljana. The wine and culinary events, Wine Indulgence and Cuisine 2024, will conclude at the 26th Slovenian Wine Festival, which will be held on November 14 and 15 at Cankarjev dom.
The Ljubljana Wine Route is free for visitors, and coupons will be available as a means of payment for tasting wine samples. More information at ljubljanskavinskapot.si.
