In the heart of the lower Vipava Valley, in the village of Vogrsko, operates Vina Bric, a family-owned winery with an exceptionally long tradition. The Bric family has been cultivating the land for over 400 years, giving their wines a special meaning and story. Every vine, vineyard, and bottle carries the mark of respect for the past and responsibility toward future generations.

Vipava Valley – an ideal location

The vineyards’ location in the Vipava Valley offers a unique combination of sunny days, cooler nights, and the characteristic bora wind, which ensures healthy grapes. The diverse soils allow the production of wines with pronounced varietal aroma and freshness. This natural gift gives Bric wines their recognizable elegance, minerality, and balance, appreciated by both local and international wine lovers.

Winemaking philosophy

At Vina Bric, they believe in sustainable viticulture and thoughtful vineyard work. Emphasis is placed on manual labor, precise harvesting, and minimal intervention in the winery. Wines mature slowly, with a clear goal – to preserve the natural character of the grape variety and vintage. The result is sincere wines, not created by industrial patterns, but as an expression of nature and the winemaker’s expertise.

Native varieties and the house’s character

Special attention is given to the native Vipava varieties, such as Zelen, Pinela, and Rebula, which represent the identity of the valley. In addition, selected international varieties are grown, which gain a unique character in the Vipava Valley. Bric wines are known for their drinkability while offering enough complexity for serious wine enjoyment.
