    Isa Login Talking Tom

    Philanthropist and Entrepreneur

Iza Sia Login co-founded the family entertainment company Outfit7 Limited with her husband, Samo, and 6 friends in 2009. The company’s Talking Tom and Friends franchise achieved phenomenal global success, to date their mobile apps have been downloaded over 10 billion times and seen collaborations with Disney Interactive and Disney Records. Since the sale of Outfit7 in late 2016 Iza Sia and Samo now devote their working time to the Login5 Foundation together with their two sons, Janez Nejc and France.

Their vision is to seek new and innovative ways to reduce global warming and discover more environmentally friendly methods ofproducing food, farming and agriculture, thus leading to a sustainable and ethical way to feed the growing human population. Other projects include a collaboration with Harward University, School of Public Health on areas of healthy food and sustainable cities.

WHAT FIVE WORDS BEST DESCRIBE SLOVENIA?
The most beautiful country in the world. (7 words )

HOW VEGAN-FRIENDLY IS SLOVENIA? ANY TIPS FOR VISITORS?
You can survive if you’re a vegan but you have to put in some effort to find rare vegan friendly
places – regular restaurants are not close to the idea yet. There are some great cafés in Ljubljana with delicious and healthy vegan food (Barbarella, Presnica, Kucha,…)

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE GIFTS AND SOUVENIRS FROM SLOVENIA TO GIVE TO PEOPLE?
Pumpkin oil for sure is the winner, wine, books of Slovenia, unique clay products, original laces from Idria,…

WHAT MAKES SLOVENIA A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE AND WORK?
Remarkable nature, short distances to commute, creative and hardworking people.

HOW HAS SLOVENIA CHANGED IN THE PAST TEN YEARS?
The biggest change I notice is Ljubljana – it changed from an average European city to one
of the most beautiful and cosiest cities in the world.

WHAT DO YOU MISS MOST ABOUT SLOVENIA WHEN YOU’RE ABROAD?
Pumpkin oil, when we run out of it, and the endless spread of greenery and Slovenian mountains.

LOOKING BACK ON THE INCREDIBLE SUCCESS OF TALKING TOM, WHAT ARE SOME
OF YOUR THOUGHTS? DID IT COME AS A SURPRISE OR 10 BILLION DOWNLOADS WAS THE PLAN ALL ALONG?

Talking Tom was designed to bring instant fun to users and the mission was completed brilliantly. The team showed that with the right mission, strategy, attitude and strong organisational culture there are no limits. Success didn’t come at once so we were able to adjust our already ambitious plans along the way.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES CURRENTLY FACED BY START-UP
COMPANIES AND YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS IN SLOVENIA?

Slovenia doesn’t support young entrepreneurs with any initiative which is the biggest mistake
in my opinion. There is also almost mission impossible to employ a non EU specialist – but market went global years ago – policies should adapt to this change…

    THE Slovenia Book Woman`s edition

DO YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF A ROLE MODEL FOR AMBITIOUS YOUNG WOMEN, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN THE IT SECTOR? ANY ADVICE FOR THEM?
For me all people are role models on how to live/work or how not to, so if women take me
for their role model I’m sure they can find something practical and useful. Advice for them:
at work use your feminine and masculine principles combined not just masculine though
your peer colleagues may expect or even demand it. This is the only way to be successful
    as a woman.

WHICH OF YOUR PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITIES ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?
Login5 Foundation supports more than 200 children in India (mostly those that live with
their mother only) – with this support they get the basic food and they go to school. Without this support they would have to work since early childhood. In India 6 of 8 women are still illiterate which I hardly imagine and just can’t understand.

WHAT‘S THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSON LIFE HAS TAUGHT YOU?
Projects come and go, family and friends stay forever it just depends where – never neglect
them because of your job or a very important project.

DO YOU HAVE ANY PERSONAL MOTTO OR PHILOSOPHY ON LIFE?
Live, love, laugh and be happy or at least have some fun.
