Wood furniture made from invasive plant species
Gleditsia triacanthos is the Latin name for thorny gladiolus, an invasive plant that became a DIY furniture material for the Trajna Group. The plans for making the furniture are available online as open source solutions. Foreign invasive species can, therefore, be very friendly if we are resourceful and prudent enough to get the best out ofout them and turn the looming danger into a strategic opportunity.
