We would like to inform you that as of today, March 13, 2020, Postojna Cave (and other sights in Postojna Cave Park), catering, trade, and accommodation facilities are being closed to visitors.
The closure applies to all kinds of sightseeing tours of Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle, Vivarium, EXPO Caves of Karst and the Secret Spaces of Hotel Jama. The closure to cancellation also applies to the Vila Planinka Hotel in Jezersko.
BREAKING NEWS: Slovenia declared Coronavirus epidemic as more cases confirmed
In the light of the declared epidemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, we believe that the measure is necessary to protect public health and prevent the spread of infections, and is in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia. The measure is expected to be in place by 8 April 2020.
