As a boutique winery with limited production of approximately 45,000 bottles per year, they remain committed to quality over quantity. Wines – The Expression of the Brda Terroir
The wine selection is divided into several lines that reflect the structure and elegance of Goriška Brda. The Klasik line represents the foundation of the house – varietally recognizable, fruity, and harmonious wines, suitable both for everyday enjoyment and for pairing with cuisine.
The Lex line is an upgrade of the classic range. These are blends from older vineyards in the best locations, bringing greater depth, complexity, and aging potential. The pinnacle of the portfolio is Kolos, produced only in exceptional vintages, with pronounced structure and long aging potential. Special attention is also dedicated to Single Vineyard wines, which express the most direct character of individual sites.
The common denominator of all wines is elegance – power without excess, structure without weight, and nobility without arrogance.
Wine Tourism and Alma Vista – A Complete Experience
Edi Simčič is not only a winery, but also a wine tourism destination. They offer guests guided tastings, where through sampling the Klasik, Lex, and Single Vineyard lines they discover the philosophy of the house and the terroir of Goriška Brda. A special part of the estate is Villa Alma Vista – a holiday home, an elegant accommodation among the vineyards.
