With its existing green policy and sustainable operation, Gostilan pri Lojzetu – Dvorec Zemono in the Vipava Valley has been awarded with the so-called Green Key.

Chef Tomaž Kavčič’s innovation knows no boundaries. He blends the local traditions and flavors of the local Vipava Valley in a masterful way, which in 2017 earned him the recognition of JRE (Jeunes Restaurateurs) as the most innovative European chef.
At Gostilna pri Lojzetu- Dvorec Zemono, where the amazing chef Tomaž Kavčič works, they tested their sustainability through the leading international standard of excellence in environmental responsibility and sustainable operation in the Green Key tourism industry, which they successfully obtained through the certification process.
Sustainable Green Key sign assures all guests that they are helping to protect the environment by choosing a certified tourist establishment. By acquiring a sustainable sign, they also committed themselves to maintain high environmental and sustainable standards. The Green Key program places great emphasis on informing, raising awareness and involving visitors and all other stakeholders in sustainable and environmentally friendly measures. Sustainability certification is also a prerequisite for the placement of tourist providers in the system of the Slovenian Green Tourism Scheme, which is a national program and certification scheme under the umbrella Slovenia Slovenia.
