The warm autumn colours have given a new look to one of Europe’s oldest cultural landscapes. The unique interplay of nature and people invites you once again to a festival of nature and heritage tourism – the Karst Gmajna Festival.
This year, too, there are a number of events to entice visitors to discover the rich biodiversity of the Karst and its exceptional cultural heritage. The autumn edition of the festival will feature various thematic hikes, cycling tours and creative workshops as well as cultural and culinary events. The events of the Kraška gmajna Festival mark October 6, the International Geodiversity Day, in the area of the cross-border geopark Kras-Carso. The events are free of charge.
