A perfect day for fashion

8:00
The average local does not start the day earlier than this. A good coffee brew and freshly baked croissants, wholesome muffins, banana bread or their signature pies is a good starter. Especially over some local news that you either hear from the guests around you or read from your own phone.

8:40
Head towards the old city centre and buy yourself some fresh flowers from the main market – you won’t believe you can get a whole bucket instead a mere bouquet.

9: 05
Stop at Lolita, get yourself a refreshing tea before you head off into the maze of fab dresses at Galerija Emporium.

11:11
Time for a quick stroll towards Loboda where you’ll find the best jewellery in town. They offer a great service and lots of knowledge about exceptional shiny little things.

11:51
Take a now very popular e-scooter and swirl toward Gornji trg to enjoy some carbs at the newly opened French bakery. Their sweet treats and pastries are as good as the ones you’d taste in France.

12:20
After refuelling on a couple of brioches slide back down towards the Ljubljanica river. Treat yourself to a new fragrance that will remind you of this wonderful day spent exploring Ljubljana.

12:45
Time for lunch! If you’d like to try something a little different, head to Trubarjeva for a Lebanese mezze. The best example of comfort food.

14:10
Pick up the pace and walk swiftly past Triple Bridge to avoid the groups of tourists and keep walking along Wolfova Street. On left side, if you are looking towards the University, you find Wolfova 5, a place for fashion connoisseurs only. No amateurs allowed.

15:00
If you want to see where the locals hang out, continue walking towards Tivoli Park. Just on the edge, where the city merges into the park, is the Modern Gallery. You’ll see a number of hip people there sipping their afternoon coffee, and trying to get the last bits of vitamin D before the snow evens out our skin tones.

16: 15
Speaking of skin tone, a good facial is what you’ll want. Talk to real medical masters not just cosmeticians. Check in at the Zorman Clinic and they can advise you on the best treatments for your face.

18: 20
While you’re in the neighborhood look out for Pajek Hats. One of the only hat makers still alive in the broader region.

18:55
Evening is coming but there’s still time to get a new pair of new boots, shoes or sneakers to stay looking fly. Check out Barlič for shoes, Vodeb for boots and Ikona for sneakers,

20:00
Newly refurbished. Meet your favourite crowd and start the night with a drink over at Magda, the next checkpoint for locals and non locals. Everybody’s welcome here!
