From 29 November to 31 December 2025, visitors can experience the festive spirit of Magical Kranjska Gora, a holiday event that blends nature, alpine charm, and cultural celebration in the heart of the Julian Alps.
The festivities begin with the lighting of the Christmas lights on Saturday, 29 November at 7 PM, in the enchanting Alpine Village, marking the start of a full month of music, art, and family joy.
Throughout December, weekends bring live concerts, children’s performances, creative workshops, and festive markets, while from 25 to 31 December, events take place daily.
The program includes:
Children’s activities – the Santa’s Mailbox in front of the Cultural Hall, creative workshops, theatre shows for kids, and Santa’s festive arrival on 21 December.
Music events – live concerts in the Alpine Village and Vitranc Hall, with highlights such as Siddharta “Razelektreno” concert on 19 December.
Comedy and theatre – festive performances and cultural evenings for all generations.
New Year’s Eve celebration – on 31 December, the main square of Kranjska Gora hosts a spectacular outdoor party featuring Ansambel Saša Avsenika, followed by a midnight countdown to welcome the New Year.
