Vila Herberstein

Located on a hill just above Velenje’s city centre, the immaculate Vila Herberstein exists in a completely different era from the town only a few hundred metres below. Dating back to the second half of the 19th century, the previous owners included several noble families and the villa was restored to its former glory following Slovenian independence.

The separate dining rooms provide an unsurpassed atmosphere, transporting guests back in time, while the food and service are every bit as fitting. It’s well-worth stopping by here on any visit to Velenje, even if it’s just for a drink.
