This still relatively new winery is set amidst the picturesque vineyards east of Slovenske Konjice, with modern, state-of-the-art facilities. The grapes are used to produce high-quality wines, and although this winery itself is new, the tradition for producing wine here dates back some eight hundred years.
The wine cellar and visitor center are located at the lower end of the vineyards in a large modern building that is mostly underground, while in the middle of the vineyards a restaurant is found in an old vineyard cot- Zlati Grič tage.
For golfers there’s even a challenging 9-hole golf course, and if you fall in love with the scenery as well as the wine, there are three apartments in an idyllic, centuries-old villa in the middle of the vineyards, a setting that looks like something from a painting or film. The surrounding countryside is definitely worth exploring, with fairytale Ziče Monastery, the spa town of Zreče and the Rogla hills all in the immediate vicinity.
