They decided on the\u00a0project THE SLOVENIA RESTAURANT AWARDS BY DINERS CLUB because of the needs and wishes\u00a0of the market, and were aware that one-of-a-kind tourism is becoming the fastest-growing tourist\u00a0industry in the world.<\/p>\n<p>The organiser\u2019s vision of THE SLOVENIA RESTAURANT AWARDS BY DINERS CLUB is the\u00a0international recognition of Slovenia as a gastronomic tourist destination, a long-term rise in the quality\u00a0of services and a visit to restaurants, and the development of a healthy &#8220;foodie&#8221; culture of Slovenes,\u00a0thus ensuring the best of Slovenian cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>Voting took place in three phases: a selection of 201 best restaurants was prepared by an\u00a0<a style=\"font-size: 15px;font-style: normal;background-color: #ffffff\" href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/tsra-about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Expert Committee<\/u><\/a>. In the second phase members of the\u00a0<a style=\"font-size: 15px;font-style: normal;background-color: #ffffff;color: #3a3a3a\" href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/voting-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Gastronomic Academy<\/u><\/a>\u00a0voted. Academy members\u00a0are food experts, journalists, critics, bloggers, experts and fan of enogastronomy, numerous\u00a0winemakers, sommeliers and representatives various industry associations. Their votes counted for\u00a075% of the final grade. For the final phase, the general public was invited through the media, social\u00a0media and the web to vote for their favorite restaurant. Their votes count 25% of the final grade.<\/p>\n<p>The beginning of the vote for the Gastronomic Academy started on January 30, 2019, followed by a\u00a0vote for the general public, March 1, 2019 and concluded on March 31, 2019. We voted for the\u00a0confirmation on April 19, 2019 to the audit firm Deloitte Slovenia, which, according to a predetermined\u00a0voting system, performed an independent review of the received votes of the Gastronomic Academy\u00a0and the public. Revision t.i. &#8220;Voting system&#8221; includes a systematic expert overview of the technical and\u00a0organizational aspects and ensures credibility in the process itself.<\/p>\n<h4>Top 10 finilists in alphabetical order<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Ljubljana-i-osrednja-1024x724.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"724\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1024px;
