The STB defined the development and promotion of gastronomy in the Action Plan for the Development and Marketing of Gastronomic Tourism of Slovenia 2019-2023. Activities are aimed at raising\u2026<\/div><\/div><\/div><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/gastronomy\/eight-restaurants-receive-gault-millau-ljubljana\/\">Ljubljana <\/a><\/strong>as the capital of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/places-to-visit-in-slovenia\/slovenia-a-must-destination-to-visit-once-travel-resumes\/\">Slovenia remains a culinary destination<\/a><\/strong>, a must for travelers who are looking for a good meal during their travels or vacation. Over the last couple of years Slovenia and its green capital of Ljubljana truly position themselves as a country with amazing culinary talents and restaurants. The highest rating \u2013 four toques \u2013 went to the Strelec restaur\u2026<\/div><\/div><\/div><p>Recently the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/slovenia\/unilad-on-slovenia-this-tiny-country-can-more-than-compete-with-the-big-boys\/\">UNILAD creators have listed Slovenia among the top 5 destinations to visit in 2021<\/a><\/strong>, and highlighted the best-known places in the country. The UNILAD creators have listed\u00a0Slovenia\u00a0among the top 5 destinations to visit in 2021: \u201cWe\u2019ll be the first to admit that 2020 wasn\u2019t the best year for travel, but in 2021 we\u2019re hoping for a\u2026<\/div><\/div><\/div><p>Other renowned media join <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/slovenia\/unilad-on-slovenia-this-tiny-country-can-more-than-compete-with-the-big-boys\/\">UNILAD<\/a><\/strong>: Earlier this year The Guardian also placed Slovenia on the list of best destinations to visit and pointed out &#8216;Ljubljana&#8217;s heavenly food market&#8217;, and the journalist at Travel Weekly was also impressed by the city&#8217;s market and Ciao Magazine dreamed about Ljubljana&#8217;s trendy bistros and major gastronomic events.
