But just as with any other simple recipe, the devil is in the details. And exactly these details are what will make or break your dish.<\/p><p>This recipe starts with pasta of the\nhighest quality that you can get your hands on. If you have the time to make\nyour own, definitely do so. Cook the pasta in salted water until \u201cal dente\u201d,\nmeaning it\u2019s still firm when bitten. <\/p><p>Cook the\npasta in water as salty as the sea.<\/p><p><strong>Besides pasta you will need the following:<\/strong><\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cherry\ntomatoes<\/li><li>Shallot<\/li><li>Garlic<\/li><li>Anchovies<\/li><li>Dry\nwhite wine<\/li><li>Basil<\/li><li>Butter<\/li><li>Clams<\/li><li>Salt<\/li><\/ul><p>Cherry tomatoes are going to be the star of\nthis sauce. Not tomato paste or canned tomatoes. Fresh cherry tomatoes will\ngive this dish the desired sweetness.&nbsp;\nCut them up into large chunks or halves. Pick shallot instead of onion\nto keep with the theme of sweetness. Chop it up really thin and throw it in a\nhot pan along with some butter. When it starts to glaze add the tomatoes. Keep\nthe heat at a medium, so the tomatoes can caramelize slowly.
