Slovenia with 13 Michelin Stars and 74 Restaurants in the Guide<\/strong><\/h1>

Slovenian gastronomy has once again achieved remarkable international recognition. The renowned culinary guide MICHELIN Guide Slovenia 2026<\/strong> has highlighted the best Slovenian restaurants for the seventh consecutive year, once again confirming the outstanding quality, diversity and creativity of Slovenian cuisine.<\/p>

This year\u2019s Michelin Slovenia 2026<\/strong> selection includes 74 restaurants<\/strong>, two more than last year. Slovenia now shines with 13 Michelin stars<\/strong>, one more than in 2025. The country\u2019s highest distinction was once again retained by Hi\u0161a Franko<\/strong> with Ana Ro\u0161, which remains the only Slovenian restaurant with three Michelin stars<\/strong>. Milka<\/strong> with David \u017defran once again received two Michelin stars<\/strong>, while eight Slovenian restaurants<\/strong> were awarded one star.<\/p>

Among the new one-star restaurants is Galerija okusov<\/strong> from Petrov\u010de, led by chef Marko Magajne<\/strong>. Slovenia also received the new special Opening of the Year Award<\/strong> for the first time, alongside the Young Chef Award<\/strong>, Sommelier Award<\/strong> and Service Award<\/strong>.<\/p>
