While Slovenia may very well have more castles per capita than any other country in the world, few if any can match Sevnica\u2019s when it comes to the sheer number of things to see and do within its walls. The castle\u2019s wine cellar is so well-presented that even abstinent visitors may want to have a look. Dozens of mostly local wines are displayed ground floor of the northeast tower, many of which can only be purchased here or from the producers themselves. A variety of different wine tasting options are available, some of which include accompanying degustation Sevnica Castle menus. <\/p>

Since 2007 the castle has also operated its own small vineyard, consisting of some 500 Blaufrankisch vines located on the terraced southwest slopes of the hill. Each year a local producer is awarded the privilege of producing a limited edition wine from the grapes, which is then bottled under the castle\u2019s own label Grajska Kri (Castle\u2019s Blood) and available exclusively at the castle. Next to the Castle Park a new Blaufrankish wine cellar is neatly arranged and available for wine tastings, meetings or just having a look.<\/p>
