Twice a year, VIVI <\/a>organizes the so-called Restaurant Week, during which you can visit Slovenian restaurants and taste their menus.<\/strong><\/h2>

Restaurant Week is one of the most popular gastronomic or culinary events in Slovenia, alongside St. Martins and Open Kitchen. <\/p>

This year’s spring edition of Restaurant week was supposed to happen in March, however, due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the spring edition of Restaurant Week will now be held in June. <\/p>

The now almost summer edition of Restaurant Week, will be happening between 12 and 21 June<\/strong>. Reservations will be open from 1 June. <\/strong>Make sure you get ready, as some of the most popular Slovenian restaurants get booked really quickly, and we don’t want you to miss out on Restaurant Week this June. <\/p>

The menu price will remain the same 19 euros, with the exception of the top-rated restaurants (3 or 4 hearts), where the special menu price will be 25 euros. <\/p>

Every year, the Restaurant Week in Slovenia highlights a new element that is instrumental in offering a superior culinary experience, while preserving all the previous elements, thereby raising the quality level in the top Slovenian restaurants. This year’s focus of Restaurant Week is combining tradition and modernity<\/strong>. We are looking forward to seeing and more importantly tasting what the best Slovenian chefs will cook up for us during Restaurant Week in June. <\/p>

Twice a year for ten days \u2013 in spring and autumn \u2013, the most mouth-watering weeks of the year, Slovenian Restaurant Week promoting fine Slovenian cuisine brings together the best Slovenian restaurants and chefs who show their skills with a three-course meal at affordable prices \u2013 19 or 25 euros ahead<\/strong>. The event gives Slovenian restaurants the opportunity to reward their regular guests for their loyalty and invite new ones to taste their excellent cuisine, which it seems is not always expensive.<\/p>

The Slovenian Restaurant Week began in 2012 <\/strong>as part of “Maribor, European Capital of Culture”, with nine participating restaurants and three thousand guests. In 2019, the two editions of Restaurant Week showcased 100 restaurants that attracted more than 90 thousand guests.<\/p>
