Slovenia<\/a> is the ultimate staycation destination, especially if you’re based in Ljubljana<\/a>! And since most people will be holidaying domestically for at least the next few months, the team at In Your Pocket<\/a> has made sure to include some of our favorite day trip spots outside the capital in their newest issue of the Ljubljana City Guide<\/a>!<\/strong><\/h2>

Slovenia is slowly (and hopefully responsibly) reopening for business, and at In Your Pocket Slovenia<\/a> they have just (re)launched their brand new digital issue of Ljubljana In Your Pocke<\/a>t<\/a><\/strong>! <\/p>

In the foreword of our previous issue, which came out forever ago in early March, we joked about the spread of the Coronavirus possibly just being an ingenious guerrilla marketing campaign for a certain Mexican beer company, and then went on to tout all of the cool new features we crammed into the guide \u201cjust in case the world descends into a post-apocalyptic hellscape before we manage another.\u201d<\/p>

Well, luckily for all of us the world has not descended into any kind of hellscape, post-apocalyptic or otherwise (at least not yet), and lo and behold here we are with a brand new issue already. Of course, due to virtually all international travel grinding to a halt and tourism transforming overnight, we\u2019ve been forced to finally face the realities of the 21st century and go all digital for the time being. Hence the fact that you\u2019re reading this on a screen right now, rather than the usual paper.<\/p>

However, there are plenty of silver linings when it comes to the new normal in travel guide publishing. For starters our guide now comfortably fits in your pocket, so our brand name is no longer an embarrassing misnomer. This digital version also required the pulping of exactly zero trees, which is another win for Mother Nature in what\u2019s turning out to be her best year in a long, long time.<\/p>

And lastly, we\u2019re also excited by the prospect that our audience will be shifting from primarily short-term visitors from abroad to locals – Slovenian, expat or otherwise – so we can present our unique take on Ljubljana to new readers. May 2020 actually marks the 12th anniversary of our very first guide, and 71 issues later we\u2019re as excited and passionate as ever to bring you the very best of the most beautiful city in the world!\n\n<\/p>
