In the last couple of years, many design companies, as well as individuals designers, have made a significant step forwards toward being recognized on an international scale for their achievements in the field of design. <\/strong><\/h2>

Red Dot<\/strong> Awards for Slovenian design<\/strong><\/h2>

Several Slovenian designers and design companies have won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Gorenje became the first Slovenian company to do so back in 2005. The Red Dot awards are awarded annually by Germany\u2019s Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, honors outstanding design quality and trendsetters, and is currently one of the most coveted international design prizes out there. <\/p>
