Stay tuned for more information!<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>About The Slovenia Restaurant Awards<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carrying out a professional, independent and national selection of the <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/v2\/tsra\/\"><b>best Slovenian restaurants<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a project that has been maturing for quite some time and is now in its <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/v2\/tsra\/\"><b>4th year of running<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The increasing demand from tourists for reviews of <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/v2\/category\/gastronomy\/restaurants\/\"><b>Slovenian restaurants<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in foreign languages, and the fact that these reviews are a rarity even in Slovene, made us realise that the process of reviewing Slovene restaurants must begin as soon as possible. This is how <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/v2\/tsra-about-2\/\"><b>The Slovenia Restaurant Awards<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were born.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus, in early autumn 2016 we started the project <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/v2\/tsra\/\"><b>TSRA<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the help from some Slovenian enogastronomy, folklore and tourism experts. The selection of the best Slovenian restaurants is also meant for the general Slovenian public \u2013 how many times do you think about going out for a nice family lunch on Sunday, but have no idea where to go?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/v2\/tsra-about-2\/\"><b>The Slovenia Restaurant Awards<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the selection truly is made by diners for diners, as we also invited you to cast your vote and give your opinion as the general public, along with a committee of experts and foodies.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>What are the Restaurant selection criteria?\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The expert committee with their professional qualifications and personal experience prepare a comprehensive list of restaurants, which offer high quality food and service and cater a superior culinary experience. Slovenia is divided into four regions;<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/v2\/tsra-2020-restaurants\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Alpine, Mediterranean &amp; Karst, Thermal Pannonian and Ljubljana and Central Slovenia<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each member of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/the-slovenia.com\/v2\/tsra-voting\/expert-committee\/\"><b>the expert committee<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> must visit a restaurant they propose at least once in the last two years. On this basis the experts will form an assessment of \u201coverall satisfaction\u201d when visiting a restaurant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>#1 <\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The restaurant must have been open for at least one year.
