After their first sold out event, it’s time for the second one! You are kindly invited to their show which will be on 7th of November at Orto Bar in Ljubljana, more details below. <\/strong><\/p>

We invite you to a mischievous winter show by the Wonton Girls \u2013 Variet\u00e9 Wonton: “Hot Winter Dumplings”! Amidst the winter fairy tale of tourist-besieged Ljubljana, as we await our favorite festive season of mass consumption, we present an enchanting group of Ladies of the Chorus taking center stage. <\/p>

They will recite, sing, dance, and dress and undress our imagination into dreamlike winters filled with romance, fireplaces, and good music. All of this will be accompanied by the melodies of a lovelorn pianist, evoking a time when we could still build snowmen and nibble on icicles without a care.<\/p>

About the Wonton Girls<\/strong><\/h2>

Bred to entertain, born to dazzle\u2014these Wonton girls can sing, dance, crack jokes, master poetry, and throw in a cheeky striptease, all while drawing inspiration from the golden eras of vaudeville, music halls, cabaret, and burlesque. Tackling hot social topics with a wink and a smile, they stir up both laughter and some much-needed tension, proving that variety shows can be as provocative as they are glamorous. <\/p>

A sizzling troupe of stage gracias who\u2019ve left their shadow days as Ladies of the Chorus far behind, they\u2019re lighting up Ljubljana\u2019s venues with their exclusive variety acts, accompanied by a wayward pianist and whatever musicians are lucky enough to join their lively ensemble.<\/p>

By day, they juggle modern-day jobs and societal expectations; by night, they immerse themselves in their true passions\u2014blending diverse singing styles (jazz, gospel, pop, folk), dance forms (contemporary, burlesque, vogue, house), and creative writing (stand-up, poetry, stories, scripts).<\/p>

Whether on screen or stage, they explore movement, physical theater, direct productions, create choreographies, organize and animate different events. What unites them? A shared love for collective creativity, a taste for the subversive magic of small-scale stagecraft, and one audacious goal: to wontonize the world as we know it!<\/p>
