According to provisional official statistical data, more than 2.5 million arrivals and more than 6 million overnight stays were recorded in the first half of 2019, which is 6\u00a0% more compared to 2018 in arrivals and 4\u00a0% more in overnight stays.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to provisional official statistical data, more than 2.5 million arrivals and more than 6 million overnight stays were recorded in the first half of 2019, which is 6 % more compared to 2018 in arrivals and 4 % more in overnight stays.<\/p>\n

Ljubljana<\/a><\/h2>\n

In the first half of this year, 460,088 arrivals and 909,950 overnight stays were generated in Ljubljana<\/a><\/u>. The average length of stay was 2 days (with the longest average length of stay being 2.1 days in January). Compared to 2018, arrivals this year went up by 11.7 % and overnight stays by 9 %. The average growth rate of overnight stays in the first half of the year was 8.6 %, with the highest growth recorded in April (+18.1 %) and June (+11.9 %).<\/p>\n

According to the data collected by the Ljubljana Tourism Board \u2013 the statistics include data from 20 hotels and 2 hostels \u2013 approximately the same number of overnight stays for July was recorded, more precisely 3.6\u00a0% more overnight stays as in July 2018, with the occupancy being 89.8%. In the first six months, the majority of overnight stays was made by tourists from Italy, Germany, the USA, other Asian countries (not including guests from China, Japan, Korea and Israel), the United Kingdom and Austria.<\/p>\n
