Wine and Chocolate festival

Slovenia offers a range of top-notch and select wines and chocolate delicacies that transcend everyday tastes. The desire to combine two exceptional products of Slovenia has led to the idea and organization of the first wine and chocolate festival in Slovenia.

We believe that the Wine and Chocolate Festival will breathe new life into the already touristy Podčetrtek and pull it out of its everyday rush. At the same time, we believe that Podčetrtek will become a traditional crossroads of chocolate and wine, and the festival will become an international social event where wine and chocolate lovers will meet, have fun, educate themselves, and make new acquaintances. The festival will be accompanied by a varied festival program of tastings, children’s chocolate workshops, culinary experiences, and entertaining music programs. Within the festival, the titles of Best Winery and Best Chocolate Shop, as voted by visitors, will also be awarded. However, since we want to imbue the festival with a touch of our local environment, local specialties will also be presented. So, at the festival, you can meet a carver, learn more about the Kozjansko Park, and even indulge not only in chocolate but also in the delicacies of our rural women, who have a special place in our local area.
