Tourist market

At the tourist market, craftsmen and artisans, as well as growers from the municipality of Moravske Toplice, display their goods several times a year. Various associations (tourist, cultural, sports) and representatives of local communities from the municipality and the wider region put on a variety of events and culinary experiences for visitors. As part of the Summer Tourist Market, where more stalls than usual are present, local providers have specific offers that are not otherwise available in the municipality. On offer at tourist markets are souvenirs – products made of clay, corn bast and straw, jewellery, wooden products and toys, forged products – and produce – pumpkin oil, hemp oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, walnut oil, homemade brandy, baked goods, homemade pasta, spreads, jams, honey, wine, tea, herbs, soaps, apple chips, onions, dried meat products, gingerbread products and chocolate.

TIC Moravske Toplice organises the traditional Summer Tourist Market, which takes place throughout the summer. The market starts in the middle of June and lasts until the end of September. Various items are on offer at the stalls, with the emphasis on handicraft products and locally produced goods. Usually, over 25 local vendors take part.
