MEGRA, INTERNATIONAL FAIR FOR CONSTRUCTION WILL BUILD IN HARMONY WITH NATURE

Gornja Radgona, Slovenia, 26. – 29. 3. 2025

MEGRA, the international construction trade fair with a forty-year tradition, will offer the latest opportunities for new green buildings, building renovation and landscaping at its 34^th event in Gornja Radgona, at the crossroads of Slovenia with Austria, Croatia and Hungary. It will promote the use of renewable energy sources and energy saving through product and service presentations and important professional events. It will build and modernise infrastructure, commercial buildings and homes. It will offer top quality craft products and services, equipping contractors with the latest machinery, tools, equipment, and know-how.

Under the auspices of the Chamber of Construction and Construction Materials Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, the most important Slovenian contractors and providers in the field of construction will participate in the fair. The Pomurje Regional Chamber of Craft and Small Business and the sections of the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia will present the deficient professions and the achievements of their members. International business exhibitors will display the latest construction machinery, equipment, services, and materials.

MEGRA 2025 will show young people that construction has long since ceased to be a profession of dust and shovels, but is increasingly a creative endeavour using advanced electronic devices supported by artificial intelligence. It will point them towards targeted education and employment in leading companies. Friday will be the Slovenian Construction 2025 Education and Career Day, when Slovenia’s most important construction companies and prominent representatives of the economy and profession will present unbeatable career opportunities to young people. Secondary, higher education and university institutions will showcase their educational programs, technical and professional equipment, and the achievements of their pupils and students in a varied day-long event.

The MEGRA 2025 fair will educate and connect with relevant expert meetings, including the international business meeting MEET4BUSINESS. It will offer visitors free daily expert advice on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, as well as information on obtaining grants and soft loans from the Eco Fund. Experts from the ZRMK Building Institute will provide advice on comprehensive building renovation, sustainable heating, cooling and ventilation of buildings as well as architectural solutions.

The MEGRA 2025 trade fair will once again demonstrate the undeniable importance of construction and its synergies with other professions for effectively dealing with the challenges of our modern times, and ensuring a successful and sustainable future.
