Advent in Ptuj 2025 will take place from December 1 to 31, 2025, in the heart of Slovenia’s oldest town. Beautifully decorated streets, charming stalls with local crafts, delicious culinary delights, and a rich program of events will create a true December fairy tale.
The month will begin with the festive lighting ceremony, bringing a glow of warmth and joy to the city. Throughout December, visitors can enjoy concerts, DJ evenings, artisan fairs, as well as children’s workshops, performances, and visits to Santa’s House. Special guided tours under the lights will reveal the city’s enchanting stories and traditions.
Highlights include Santa’s arrival, the visit of the Snow Fairy and Grandfather Frost, and a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration in the town square. Children can have fun at the fairy-tale ice rink and the carousel on Miklošičeva Street, while adults can savor mulled wine and festive specialties from local vendors.
