UTVV is a trail running event that was first introduced in the Vipava Valley in 2015. This year marks the 8th edition, with an expected 1800 runners from around the world.
The event offers 7 distances, of which 6 are competitive, while one is actually a tasting hike through the vineyards due to the rich Vipava wine heritage. In addition to the competitive atmosphere brought by the long-distance runners to the valley, the event is colored by the beautiful spring nature of the Mediterranean Karst Vipava Valley, its rich cultural heritage, and a variety of fun activities.
