Tanja Sonc is the recipient of numerous awards at national and international competitions. Among other things, she won the Brahms competition in Pörtschach (Austria). Since the 2017/2018 season, she has been a member of the “Zürcher Kammerorchester” chamber orchestra. Tanja represented Slovenia in the Europe@Home series on TV Arte with the top violinist Daniel Hope. In 2016, she founded the chamber music festival Sonc Festival in Slovenia. Last year, her first album “Glasba slovenskih skladateljev” was released, which was recorded in cooperation with the Bank of Slovenia. Tanja plays a Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume violin from 1850.
Born in Lebanon, Ribal Molaeb began his studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and continued at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, where he graduated with honors in 2018. He played several solo recitals in Europe, the most important of which was a solo recital at the Musikverein in Vienna. He also recorded an album for viola and piano entitled “Moja leta v Dunaju”, which is a very important document, as he is the first Lebanese violist with an international reputation. He was appointed artistic director of the Swiss music association SUMITO in Switzerland, where he currently lives with his wife, violinist Tanja Sonc.
